Murder in Venice Description

This is a “best of both worlds” puzzle game, as far as I’m concerned. The plot actually makes sense, AND the game itself is fun and interesting. It’s a really short play (I finished the main story version in a couple hours), but I’ve replayed it three or four times since then and still gotten a lot out of it.
What really takes it over the top is the extra stuff: the minigames! It’s basically all the minigames you played in the story version (sliding block puzzles, mazes, what my partner describes as “Bejeweled on crack,” etc.), but with a whole bunch of extra levels that have kept me occupied for ages.
This game hasn’t left my DS since I bought it because it’s so versatile–if I’m in the mood for a story game, I can play it, or if I’m just in a mood to solve some puzzles, I can just play the minigames. All in all, definitely a worthwhile purchase and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes DS puzzle games.

The graphics in this game are amazing. The game and storyline move along extremely well. I gave this five stars because:
2. Doesn’t freeze
3. Doesn’t self save every other screen (really annoying in some games)
4. Was interesting and fun
5. Didn’t feel like another me too search and find game
I had no expectation levels of this game since it was new and fairly cheap but was impressed with the clarity and beautiful images. I would recommend this highly for anyone that likes search and find games with a few extra puzzles.

This is my 10th adventure game I’ve gotten from City Interactive. 5 on the PC – then they started doing them on the DS and this is my 5th on the DSi. I do like the DS ones better due to the touch screen interaction. Murder in Venice is an adventure game for the Dsi and DS that has both puzzle challenges and hidden object challenges. Both offer some challenge but are not overly difficult. The story is quite good and takes place in two time periods. The music is also good too – it would make a great music soundtrack. I did also like the fact that this one has no PC version – it is an original for the DS and Dsi. Overall I am very pleased with this game – I replayed Vampire Moon recently and the replay value of these games is quite high although the end stays the same.
