I was really looking forward to some nice relaxing puzzle challanges. But instead, I was served up a game that crashes after about 30 minutes. I took it back and replaced it with a new card and sure enough, it still crashes. Tried a different DS….still crashes. I have e-mailed the company, we’ll have to wait and see. The game however, bombed IMHO.

Love the graphics and the sounds to these games. I’m technically challenged when it comes to video games, but I do love the puzzles. This is a good one. It has multiple games in one cartridge.

Like the other reviewers, while playing Skip Jack for more than a couple rounds, the game froze and emitted a high pitched beep. Had to turn off the Nintendo DS, let it sit for a minute and then start over again.
Other than that, I really enjoy the games on Zenses Rainforest (even more than Zenses Ocean). It’s a great way to pass the time when you’re sitting with nothing else to do (excellent for endless waiting in a doctor’s office or the Dept. of Motor Vehicles).

Zenses: Rainforest Edition is a mildly challenging game but with its colorful nature oriented graphics and calming music you could stay with for hours if not for software issues. As other Amazon reviewers have also mentioned, the game freezes and crashes during play and the only way out of this dilemma is to turn off the Nintendo DSi and start the game again from the beginning. This software glitch leaves the player unable to play the higher levels of the game. Because of this disappointing software flaw you may want to consider other Nintendo DSi titles over this one including some of my favorites: Scribblenauts, 50 Classic Games DS, and Hotel Dusk Room 215.
