i wanted to make my psp useful for something other than a music player, movie player, and gaming. the only downside is that it requires firmware 6.0 or better, and i have mine modded just below that version. and i have noticed it only works on the psp 1000. i also had a psp 2000, but the system wouldnt recognize that it was plugged in, and it had the most up-to-date firmware (stock firmware). i dont know if itll work on any of the new psp or not.
