I bought this for my boyfriend along with 5 other games as a valentines present ( He was 19 but, i figured that i should just save the chocolates, and teddy bear things till another time)
Anyways, i bought him 6 games total, including this Sega Genesis collection..I asked him how it was
….
He didn’t like it at all…it was just something to do to pass time
I have not actually seen this game in person yet, so im just giving you guys /his review
So, if your’e going to buy this for a person that’s into gaming, this would NOT be a choice
HOPE THIS HELPED..
now i got you all skeptic about buying this game, because there were so many GREAT Reviews and here’s my one negative review..(well, just telling the truth, people need the truth on what they buy! ESPECIALLY over the internet!)

The SEGA Genesis was a hit cosole back in the 90′s, and the releasing of this Genesis collection sheds some light on the past of SEGA’s past gaming. For some, it is a trip down memory lane while for others, it is an exciting taste of gaming from the 90′s. This collection was fun yet dissapointing. The including of several classic hits was the main enjoyment. The bad was the leaving out of several other classics. Streets of Rage, Toe Jam and Earl, Gunstar Heroes, etc. were all left out from what could’ve been a great compilation of SEGA Genesis games. Luckily, I got this game at K Mart for $15. Although this product may have dissapointed fans, it is forgiven for including SEGA’s best. I still would recommend this game and enjoy playing the great games which repay for the absence of many other classic titles.

I played most of these games when I was 12-14. They are exactly how I remember them. They are captured very well in this collection for the PSP. I really enjoy the ability to save my progress. I would say it’s a great commuting game. You can put in 5-10 minutes and save at any time.
I really forgot how fun of a game Shinobi III was. Try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

As far as retro collections go, this is the best on psp. Namco museum milks Namco’s more successful days, with the same old games on each iteration. This game is a collection you aren’t as likely to see kicking around on every system. Other reviews talk about the games, I’ll just review it as a product. About 3/4 of the games are pick up and play fun. The rest are old school rpg’s which take some patience. In the end you get a bunch of great 2D games from an under appreciated system. Completely worth the price of entry.
