I got this 50% off and it’s a great deal at that price. The batteries and charger work great and the HD cable seems well made. I haven’t used the wireless motion sensor but visually it looks like maybe the only weak spot here, doesn’t look very well made.

I was looking for an extra Nyko Charge Station since I already have one for two Wii remotes and I needed another charger for my other two. Looked around at other stores, they were selling the charger for about the same price as the Nyko Performance Kit that comes with a sensor bar (wireless the best part) and component cables that make my games look so much better. I love the charge station and every store I go to recommends the Nyko one. As for the sensor bar, I have my LCD on my wall and with this I do not have any wires running down from my TV and seems to work as well as Nintendo’s wired sensor bar. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to upgrade their Wii or just bought a Wii because you will turn out to need these things especially the charger.

When it does come down to the Nintendo Wii, it has a lot of great accessories that Nintendo makes so well, but when Nyko has made so many different 3rd party devices, they just haven’t been able to spark the fire, and fall flat so quickly for the Wii. That sadly is the case with their Enhanced Performance Kit. Not only does the compatable cable not work very well, but the added extras from the rechargeable battery packs can easily leak, and waste severe damage on the Wii-mote. Not only that, but the Nyko Sensor bar also doesn’t work as well for the Wii’s strength. All in all, I really and honestly recommend you get the extra peripherals from Nintendo, they make better sensor bars that work strongly with the Wii, and try another 3rd party brand that fits what Nintendo is capable of.

Charger and batteries were DOA on arrival. Wireless bar wasn’t working well either. Wouldn’t read my Wii remote very accurately from 10 feet away without jittering around on the screen. Lucky me I now get to go through the return/exchange process.
