  1. I thought this game would be perfect for my 5 & 7 year old girls, who both love dogs. On the cover it looks and sounds great. What a disappointment! You have to be able to read to play the game. Controlling the game also wasn’t thought out at all, and is difficult for my 5 year old. Poor design, poorly programmed. Don’t waste your money.

THIS GAME IS OKAY, IT LACKS ALOT, BUT WOULD BE OKAY FOR A YOUNG CHILD.

My 9-year-old found this game so frustrating and difficult to understand, they were in tears after an hour of trying to play it. It doesn’t appear to save data so you have to go through the entire initial story each time.

The story line is violent, which is not what this game tries to sell itself as. I think it was someone’s attempt to simulate Webkinz, but id didn’t work. At ALL.

If your kids are too young to read yet, this game will be totally useless for them, as there is a lot of text to read.

You don’t really get to choose what you want to do- there is no just “wandering around” getting to know the game. It always forces you to play the next “course.” There is danger of your puppy “dying” from attacks. My animal-loving kids ended up hating it.

I think this game is a complicated for children under five years old. I am 12 and I enjoy this game. For anyone who is reading this, and you have read comments on how this is a bad game for children, the evil wolf does not physically hurt anyone. In one person’s comment, they said your puppy can die in the game. This is not true; you get low health and then it’s game over, and then right back to the game. Your puppy doesn’t die or get injured. There is no difference in its appearance no matter what happens. The people who made this would never let a puppy die in a kids video game. I disagree with a lot of people, this game is very fun for me and you go on lots of quests and your puppy can get lots of cute accessories. I do agree that it’s a little complicated for younger children, and that the game does not include the part of the evil wolf on the case, but if your child is 8 years or older I think this game would be perfect.

My eight-year-old loves this game. She spends hours playing it. She likes creating different dogs and solving the puzzles. As you solve the puzzles, you earn gold points that allow you to buy accessories for your dog characters. She has had some issues saving her characters, and accidentally overwrote an existing one.

It’s probably not a great game for adults or older children, but kids ages 6-10 would enjoy it (some reading is required).
