Yet though the great battles and deeds that eventually lead to the destruction of the Ring of Power are a distant memory for most, they are not forgotten. Preparations are underway in Hobbiton for a great party to welcome the legendary Aragorn, now king of the united lands of Arnor and Gondor, and to honor Samwise Gamgee for his service during the War of the Ring. With Aragorn’s visit to the Shire imminent, Sam’s children are eager to learn more about this great man and so Sam, now Mayor of Hobbiton, embarks on a tale of the revered warrior, Aragorn, and the valiant deeds that transformed a Ranger of the North, into the last great king of men in Middle-earth.

The psp version and some people have said the DS as well have no co-op multiplayer. This game is quite easy yet is still somewhat fun. It would have been a whole lot more fun if we could play with a friend.I bought this thinking I could play with my son.
Game developers get wise, there is a demand for multiplayer games, even mediocre co-op games get bought more by families and casual gamers much more than only single player campaigns.

I finished this game in a couple hours. It’s fun to play but I thought it was too easy to be great. It was really hard to lose a fight – no matter how many enemies you were fighting. The good side is that it follows the lord of the rings story. Aragon is doing the quests to help Frodo to get to Mordor.

I wanted a copy of the this little game, mostly because I am a collector of all things Tolkien-related. The game is actually pretty decent. Although not overly complex, long, or difficult, fans of the movies or books will find much to enjoy. The environmental graphics are really good, and the bits about Sam telling the story to his children before the visit of King Elessar are a reference to similar material found in The History of Middle-Earth Volume IX: Sauron Defeated. You will not find lots of depth in this game, but it is fun nonetheless.
