Hey, let’s make a game where you vaguely swing the Wii-mote and have no control over what your character does. Awesome.

Let’s face it if this is the best the Wii has to offer they are in for a sad year. The graphics are terrible and the gameplay is choppy. I wasn’t impressed with a lot of the characters and the fights get boring quickly. No competition for either Xbox360 or PS3.

I would like to point out that I don’t actually own this game. I played it a friend’s house.

The controls in this game are terrible(or maybe it’s just the GC controller). I had trouble playing against someone that I would normally perfect in any other Capcom Vs. game.

Frank “The Great” West IS the worst character in the game, which is really disappointing. His attacks are incredibly slow compared to pretty much everyone on the roster; Viewtiful Joe, another awesome character, has a boring un-original movelist, such an innovative character had a horrible transition to this game.. and for those reason I’m rating this one-star. Ryu doesn’t suck for once which is good, but even he suffers from the bad control layout — I mistakenly sweep when I want to perform a launcher. Also, I don’t know much about Tatsunoko, but it would’ve been nice to have Speed Racer as a playable character. He’s one of the few Tatsunoko characters known in the US.

The storyline is non-existant, in this era where there are games like Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock this is un-acceptable. This game also lacks quite a few features outside of Fighting.. making it seem “thrown together”.

The American version seems to lack “character themes” and the anime custcenes in the original, which takes away from the whole anime crossover thing.

Maybe if this was on a console that didn’t have such limitations this could have been as good as Street Fighter 4 or Tekken 6.

    Also.. where’s the REAL Ken?

MvC2 is still king of VS. fighting games.

When I was a kid, I used to watch G-Force. Later, I forgot about the show’s existence. This brought me back.

    Pros:

    Amazing graphics, colors, special effects

Very balanced for a vs. game

Very tight controls. Works great with the arcade stick too.

    Great On-Line capabilities

Nostalgia for some characters (and even if not, they’re really nice)

    Exclusive for Wii

    Cons:

Some features were removed from the Japanese version, but not to an extent that it harms the game.

I would highly recommend buying this game.

I hope allot of people buy this. I just got it today.

the first minute of playing this game you will be unimpressed

especially if you saw the vids you think it looks and goes nothing like that.

Until i read the book and discovered the deep fighting system. it uses a 3 attack based system that

when used in combos can do some devastating things. you can air link combos and do crazy things in the air. its friendly to noobs – experts. i have played with girls and they gave me a challenge after they got used to the game and my friend who plays in street fighter tournaments and such seems to like this game as well. so its not bad. I have put in 4 hours so far. I found no bugs or glitches

it runs beautiful. character selection is great and the fighting system is great. this game has got me considering buying a fight stick for my wii.

so hopefully you like what i had to say and you will buy this game. best [...] i spent for my wii in a while.

pick up nomore heroes 2 if you can as well you might like it. i sure do.
