Customer Review: USB Powered = No Hardware Failures and Good Cooling
You can’t buy it here on Amazon anymore but this fan is worth the money. The fact it is USB powered means that it won’t cause a hardware failure like the Intercooler model. Having to plug it in to work is not that bad. I mean before this generation you had to get up to turn on/off a console so I’m sure you can take the extra steps to plug this in. I pair this with the Intec fan stand and both significantly reduce the heat of the console. Since installing these two I haven’t had any disk read errors or crashes.
