I bought this product recently and I was surprized to see its size. From the pictures on the web it looked kind of bulky however it is no more than the size of a sandwich and surprising light too.
The setup was a cakewalk if you followed the instructions and you are online in a flash. I am very much satisfied with this product.
Great Value for Money! The difference is in the price.. the microsoft one costs $100 and the pelican one costs $70 Retail. It is supposed to do the same thing as the Microsoft wireless adapter (connect to a router) but only cheaper and without using up a usb port.
Customer Review: Buyer beware
I recently moved & lost my XBox 360 wireless network adapter, so that put me in the unfortunate situation of A) spending $100 on another wireless adapter or B) find a cheaper solution.
I went with option B and purchased the Pelican Wireless Network Adapter for XBox 360. Less than 24 hours after the fact, I regret this decision and will be taking this back. After configuring it on my computer, I went to hook it up to my 360. Failed test after failed test, I call Microsoft’s customer service. They inform me that the Pelican Wireless Network Adapter is not supported by the 360 and it rarely works on the 360.
So, learn from my mistake & stay away from this devices.
